Routine Cleaning:

Rotate and fluff cushions regularly to maintain their shape and even wear and tear.
Spot Cleaning:

Attend to any spills immediately—the faster you act, the better the result.

Blot (don’t rub) with a clean, dry cloth to absorb liquid.

Spot clean with water-based cleaners only.

Always test cleaning products on an inconspicuous area first.
Light & Environment:

Avoid placing upholstery in areas of direct sunlight, as this can cause fading - over time.

Maintain a stable indoor environment—extreme humidity or dryness can affect fabrics and fillings.
General Use Tips

Avoid sitting on arms or edges to maintain structural integrity of your handmade piece.

Keep sharp objects, pets’ claws, and rough materials away from fabrics.

Use arm covers or throws in high-use areas to increase longevity as needed.
Fabric-Specific Care:
Different fabrics require different care methods:

Natural fibres (linen, cotton): May wrinkle and stain more easily—gentle cleaning recommended.

Velvets: Brush lightly to maintain pile direction; avoid excessive moisture.

Performance fabrics: More resistant to stains but still benefit from regular maintenance.

Regular care not only preserves the look of your upholstery but also extends its lifespan—making your custom piece a lasting part of your home.

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for change of mind, products that do not fit in your home so please select and purchase carefully.
If we chose to negotiate this, proof of payment must be supplied, goods must be in perfect conditions and return delivery cost will be the customers responsibility.
Requesting fabric cutting’s is recommended as to not be disappointed about movement in velvets, and to confirm the final look, feel and colour of fabrics in your own home. We do not accept returns for change of mind of fabric.
If the fabric you've order via the website has become discontinued or out of stock, we will work with you to find a suitable substitute and provide a refund or invoice for any difference in the fabric cost.
Full payment is required before any products will be put into production.
Once you are notified that your goods are ready for delivery/collection they need to be collected/delivered in 7 working days or a storage rate may be applied.
If you require delivery, each job is quoted individually and will be subject to an additional delivery fee.
Delivery charges that are applied to orders online are subject to change with quotation of address/time/date of delivery.You will be contacted if there is an additional charge.
Delivery carrier is subject to delivery address and availability at time of the booking.
Difficult access to premises needs to be notified to While She Waits at the time of order placement, we are not liable for items that can not be delivered to a premises with inadequate access. An additional fee will be charged for inadequate access - or a failure to accept delivery on the nominated day and time.
We do not accept responsibility of products damaged once they leave our premises.
